Troubleshooting

I see a black screen after I login to my computer remotely.

A black screen will appear if PlanetRemote has been installed on a computer using Windows XP, with the fast user switching function enabled. To ensure the proper operation of PlanetRemote, you will need to disable fast user switching.

To disable fast user switching in XP:
  1. Click Start - > Settings -> Control Panel
  2. Click User Accounts
  3. Select the Change the way users log on or off link
  4. Un-check the Use Fast User Switching option
  5. Select the Apply Options button.
